Job summary

Century Fire Protection Nashville is seeking a full-time installer to assist in the installation and repair of wet, dry, pre-action and deluge fire protection piping for commercial, residential, and industrial buildings, in compliance with current codes.

You will lay out pipe, connect fittings, attach sprinkler heads, and work closely with foreman to maintain safety and quality on site. A High School Diploma or GED is required, with 0-6 months related experience; pre-employment checks apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; or 0-6 months related experience or training.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation and repair of fire sprinkler systems per specifications.
• Lays out strings (pipe) along designated pipeline settings in field.
• Connects pipe, using snap lock or wrench to tighten collar clamp.
• Attaches revolving sprinkler heads to vertical pipes at designated points along pipeline.
• Communicates with foreman and/or superintendent any safety hazards and discrepancies found on job site.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area.
• Adheres to company safe working policies and procedures at all times.

Additional Requirements
