Job summary

SoarElite Fire Protection is seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Inspector/Service Technician to join our Rockville team. The role inspects, tests, services, troubleshoots, and repairs commercial fire sprinkler systems in compliance with NFPA standards.

The ideal candidate will have NICET Level II certification in Inspection and Testing of Water-Based Systems and strong hands-on sprinkler experience. You will perform inspections per NFPA 25, handle service calls, identify deficiencies, and

Qualifications

• 2+ years of fire sprinkler inspection, service, or repair experience.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA 25.
• Experience with wet and dry sprinkler systems; pre-action experience preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and mechanical skills.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work from ladders and lifts and lift up to 70 lbs.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and test sprinkler systems per NFPA 25.
• Service calls, troubleshoot, and repair for customers.
• Identify deficiencies and recommend repairs.
• Service and repair sprinkler heads, valves, piping, switches, gauges.
• Test fire pumps when applicable.
• Prepare accurate inspection reports and service documentation.
• Communicate findings clearly with customers.
• Join on-call rotation as needed.
