Job summary

Century Fire Protection is seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Inspector to inspect, test, and service water-based sprinkler systems, read blueprints, and ensure readiness.

You will document findings, coordinate with service teams, and support customers in meeting code requirements. A sign-on bonus of $3,000 is offered and opportunities for certification.

This role requires 2–3 years of experience, NFPA knowledge, and a valid MVR; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2–3 years of experience inspecting various fire sprinkler systems, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of NFPA codes and standards for inspection, testing, and installation.
• NICET II or III certification preferred.
• Backflow certification preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel.
• Clean MVR required.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends when required.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, testing, servicing, installation, and preventative maintenance of water-based and sprinkler systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, specifications, and fire codes.
• Test systems for leaks using air and liquid pressure equipment.
• Identify deficiencies and document findings in detailed service reports.
• Coordinate inspection deficiencies with the service needed to correct them.
• Communicate with the Service Manager and Inspections Coordinator regarding job status, delays, and requirements.
• Help ensure customers receive work according to the proposed scope.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
