Job summary

The Hiller Companies, LLC has an immediate opening for Fire Sprinkler Inspector. The role involves conducting routine inspections, testing, service, and preventative maintenance on Fire Sprinkler, Clean Agent and Special Hazard Fire Protection Systems in commercial, industrial, and residential settings.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, educating customers on system operation, and managing job progress with a strong commitment to quality and safety.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of inspecting and servicing sprinkler systems.
• NICET Level I certification is required.
• NC State Sprinkler Inspection License required.
• Knowledge of NFPA code requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine service and maintenance tasks on wet, dry, pre-action, deluge and foam systems in commercial, industrial, and residential buildings.
• Inspect, test, diagnose issues with fire suppression systems and ensure system functionality.
• Provide customer instruction on system operation and functionality.
• Manage job scheduling and progress with focus on quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Deliver excellent customer service and educate customers on fire suppression best practices and emergency procedures.
• Complete and submit documentation in a timely manner.
• Ensure work complies with relevant codes and regulations.
• Follow safety regulations and operate equipment safely.
• Maintain and care for equipment including trucks, lifts, and tools.

Education

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent

NICET Level I

NC State Sprinkler Inspection License
