Job summary

The Hiller Companies, LLC is seeking a Sprinkler Service Inspector to join our fire protection team. This role conducts routine inspections, testing, service and preventative maintenance on Fire Sprinkler, Clean Agent and Special Hazard systems across various facilities.

You will diagnose issues, educate clients on system operation, document activities, and ensure work complies with codes and safety regulations while upholding our commitment to safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Perform routine inspections and testing on sprinkler systems.
• Verify system functionality and diagnose issues.
• Maintain documentation of inspections and service activities.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine service and maintenance on wet, dry, pre-action, deluge and foam systems in commercial, industrial, and residential buildings.
• Identify and diagnose issues with fire suppression systems.
• Provide customer instruction on system operation and functionality.
• Manage job scheduling and progress with a focus on quality.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and requests promptly.
• Complete and submit all required task-related, activity, productivity, and other documentation in a timely manner.
• Make sure all work complies with relevant codes and regulations.
• Follow all safety regulations and practices.
• Ensure proper maintenance and care of equipment—trucks, lifts, tools.
