Fire Sprinkler Foreman

Div. 133 - Ashburn, Virginia

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Installation of pipe fittings, hangers, couplings, and sprinklers per design plan and codes to properly protect building.
2. Production oversight of crew members and other crews if acting as lead foreman on a multi-crew job.
3. Maintain all tools and equipment, including trucks, power machines, tools, and electronics, ensuring they are clean and in good working order.
4. Complete weekly paperwork for CSC and as directed by the General Contractor.
5. Communicate with designer regarding design changes and material shortages.
6. Check in material deliveries with crew and report shortages immediately.
7. Create red-line drawings for designer submission.
8. Communicate project and schedule changes to Field Superintendent and CSC Project Manager.
9. Attend project and coordination meetings as required.
10. Complete and submit daily progress reports.
11. Report water damage, injuries, or accidents immediately to the Field Superintendent and General Manager.
12. Follow project-specific rules and regulations (parking, smoking policies, dress code, etc.).
13. Train fitter/helper on installation techniques.
14. Submit receipts with weekly timecards for reimbursement.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or GED; 3-5 years related experience and/or training.

Additional Requirements

Pre-employment drug screening, clean motor vehicle record, ability to lift 75 pounds without assistance.
