Position Overview

This is a contingent position based on contract award.

Job Responsibilities

• Inspect, service, maintain, and repair fire sprinkler and fire suppression systems.
• Perform routine and complex maintenance on various fire suppression equipment, including wet, dry, and pre-action sprinkler systems, fire hydrants, wet chemical systems, and CO2 systems.
• Identify hazards and defects, and determine necessary adjustments or repairs.
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes.
• Read and interpret system design plans and building drawings.
• Work independently and as part of a team on all fire sprinkler system tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Apply knowledge of the National Fire Alarm Code and UFC codes.

Qualifications

Required:

• TS/SCI clearance with willingness for polygraph upon request.
• US Citizenship.
• NICET Level III in Sprinkler.
• Minimum five years of experience in Fire Protection/Life Safety Industry, including field experience as pipefitter, journeyman, or foreman.
• Extensive knowledge of various sprinkler systems.
• Experience with DoD/IC.

Desired:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of Congressional budget processes and government programs.
• Experience developing government cost estimates.

Compensation

Range: $66,800 - $100,200 (Maryland area). Compensation will be based on experience and internal parity.
