Qualifications

Job Details
Job Location: Chesapeake VA - Ashburn, VA
Position Type: Full Time
Salary Range: Undisclosed
Travel Percentage: Up to 25%
Fire Sprinkler Foreman

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  1. Installation of pipe fittings, hangers, couplings, and sprinklers per design plan and codes to properly protect building.
  2. Production of all crew members and all other crews if acting as lead foreman on a job with multiple crews.
  3. Maintenance of all tools and equipment, including truck, power machine, power tools, and electronics, assigned for crew's use. This includes keeping truck and tools clean and in good working order.
  4. Completion of all required weekly paperwork for CSC and as directed by the General Contractor for the job to which crew is assigned.
  5. Communicating with designer before making any design changes.
  6. Communicating with designer regarding any material shortages.
  7. Checking in material deliveries (with assistance of his crew) and immediately reporting any shortages to the designer.
  8. Producing red-line drawings to turn in to designer.
  9. Communicating project and schedule changes to Field Superintendent and CSC Project Manager.
  10. Attending project and coordination meetings as required.
  11. Completion and submission of daily progress reports to Field Superintendent and General Contractor as required.
  12. Documenting and reporting water damage, injuries, and/or accidents to Field Superintendent and General Manager immediately when an incident occurs.
  13. Follow project specific rules and regulations (park in designated areas, no smoking on job-site policies, dress code, etc.).
  14. Train fitter/helper on proper installation techniques.
  15. Turn in receipts with timecard each week for reimbursement.

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 3-5 years related experience and/or training.

Additional Requirements: Pre-employment drug screen, Clean motor vehicle record. Able to lift 75 pounds without assistance.
