Job summary

Silco Fire & Security seeks a Fire Sprinkler Estimator / Sales Representative in Dayton, OH to estimate costs, prepare bids, and grow sales by understanding customer needs and offering tailored solutions with our design and installation teams.

You will perform site visits, develop detailed costings, and present proposals, while building relationships with customers, contractors and vendors to ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery and strong post-sale support.

Qualifications

• Experience as a sprinkler estimator, sales representative or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of sprinkler system design, installation and maintenance.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and technical documents.
• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical, math, communication and negotiation skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits to assess project requirements.
• Prepare detailed estimates covering materials, labor and other costs.
• Develop and present proposals and bids to customers.
• Identify new business and grow existing relationships to meet sales targets.
• Build relationships with customers, contractors and vendors.
• Collaborate with design and installation teams on project handoff and delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of estimates and sales activity in the CRM.
• Represent Silco at trade shows and industry events.
