Job summary

Encore Fire Protection, the East Coast's largest full‑service fire protection company, seeks a Sprinkler Systems Estimator to guide customers through estimating and proposal processes with accuracy and professionalism. The role blends field assessments and office-based estimating, and prior fire protection experience is not required.

You will work closely with internal teams to build accurate proposals, communicating clearly with customers, general contractors, and owners.

Qualifications

• Formal sales experience beyond retail or hospitality.
• Willingness to learn, especially in a technical environment.
• Proficiency with email, word processing, and spreadsheet software.
• Ability to self-teach on CRM platforms, ticketing software, and industry-specific tools.

Responsibilities

• Meet customers, conduct site surveys, and gather measurements and system info.
• Build estimates, proposals, and preengineering solutions for fire protection projects.
• Review construction documents and coordinate with contractors, owners, and internal teams.
• Collaborate with project management, design, field operations, and estimators to ensure accurate proposals.
• Maintain strong customer relationships via calls, emails, and in-person meetings.
• Spend time in the field to understand system conditions and pricing.
• Approximately 70% of time in the office on estimates and proposals, rest with customers.
