Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Designer to design and develop sprinkler layouts for commercial projects, ensuring compliance with NFPA standards, codes, and project specs. You will interpret architectural drawings, perform hydraulic calculations, and prepare shop drawings for submittals.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in fire sprinkler design, proficiency with HydraCAD and AutoCAD, and knowledge of NFPA 13; NICET certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Fire Sprinkler Design experience.
• Experience designing Commercial Fire Sprinkler Systems.
• Proficiency with HydraCAD and/or AutoCAD.
• Experience performing Hydraulic Calculations and creating Fire Sprinkler layouts.
• Strong knowledge of NFPA 13, local codes, and Fire Protection standards.
• Ability to interpret Architectural Drawings, specifications, and Construction Documents.
• Experience preparing Shop Drawings and Design Submittal packages.
• Ability to coordinate with Engineers, Contractors, AHJs, and internal Project teams.
• NICET Certification in Water-Based Systems Layout preferred.
