The role involves mentoring others, applying hydraulics calculations, and collaborating with sales to support project wins across diverse building types.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1–5 years of fire sprinkler design experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD, HydraCAD, sprinkler design software.
• NICET Level III in Water-Based Systems Layout.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and apply NFPA standards to sprinkler design based on building type and hazard.
• Design and layout sprinkler systems using CAD software; coordinate with other building components.
• Perform field checks to verify design accuracy.
• Coordinate deliveries of system materials to meet installation start dates.
• Mentor others in sprinkler design using experience and knowledge.
• Assist sales in design estimates.
