Job summary

Western States Fire Protection in Sparks, NV is seeking an Entry Level Fire Sprinkler Designer and Project Manager to design, coordinate, and manage sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial, and residential buildings.

The role involves creating detailed drawings with AutoCAD, AutoSprink, or HydraCAD, compiling material lists, performing hydraulic calculations, and developing preliminary schedules while coordinating with subcontractors and owners to meet project goals.

Qualifications

• NICET certification required.
• Experience with AutoCAD, AutoSprink, HydraCAD.
• Three years' experience in commercial, industrial, and residential design.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review contract docs and coordinate with sub-contractors to design sprinkler systems.
• Create detailed drawings using AutoCAD/AutoSprink/HydraCAD.
• Perform hydraulic calculations for projects.
• Develop initial project schedules and material lists.
• Monitor safety, quality, productivity, and profitability on projects.
• Oversee field labor and staffing for assigned projects.
