Job summary

You will supervise the design team, coordinate with superintendents and project managers, and uphold safety and company standards. This role reports to the Regional Manager and partners with Engineering and Operations to optimize design processes.

Responsibilities

• Design Oversight: Manage the preparation of detailed working drawings in accordance with contract documents.
• Design Oversight: Ensure all team drawings reflect the latest codes, standards, materials, and design methods.
• Design Oversight: Maintain working knowledge of current drawing software and sprinkler design technology.
• Design Oversight: Review design reports prior to Pre-Construction meetings.
• Design Oversight: Assign design team members to projects that fit their skills.
• Design Oversight: Conduct training for the design department.
• Design Oversight: Review and approve timesheets and vacation requests.
• Uphold company culture, safety standards, and daily drill administration.
