Job summary

Fireline Sprinkler LLC in Wisconsin is seeking a Fire Sprinkler Design Engineer to design and coordinate fire sprinkler systems from concept through project completion. You will ensure NFPA and local code compliance and work with AHJs, PMs, and field personnel.

The role involves preparing drawings, hydraulic calculations, and material lists, plus supporting site surveys and project documentation. Flexible near Eau Claire/La Crosse and Rochester, MN areas.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of fire sprinkler design experience.
• Proficient with NFPA standards and local codes.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret specifications.
• Experience coordinating with AHJs, PMs, and contractors.

Responsibilities

• Design fire sprinkler systems for commercial, industrial, and residential projects.
• Prepare shop drawings, hydraulic calculations, material lists, and fabrication details.
• Conduct site surveys and plan reviews to assess requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers, owners, and trades to ensure compliance.
• Prepare drawings, calculations, permits, and project records.
• Assemble foreman packages and project turnover documents.
• Support fabrication planning and resolve design challenges.
