Impact Fire Services seeks a trainee who will learn sprinkler system installation under close supervision. The role involves site cleanup, unloading, staging, and assisting in pipe cutting and threading, with opportunities to test systems under a Sprinkler Fitter.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow verbal work instructions/directions.
• Capable of working independently and completing duties with moderate supervision.
• Demonstrate the initiative to learn skills of the trade.
• Ability to learn applicable installation, inspection, and servicing codes.
• Ability to read labels, signage and directions along with basic math computation skills.
• Demonstrate strong customer service orientation.
• Strong organization skills, positive attitude, and ability to quickly learn.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company requirements.

Responsibilities

• Work with a Fire Sprinkler Technician to complete tasks on a job site.
• Learn applicable fire protection codes and obtain state licensing.
• Protect and maintain company equipment.
• Maintain vehicle in good condition per procedures.
• Perform tasks assigned by the Fitter or Manager.
