Impact Fire Services is seeking a trainee/apprentice to learn sprinkler system installation under the supervision of a Sprinkler Fitter. The role involves site cleanup, unloading, staging, pipe cutting and threading, and assisting in testing systems with close guidance.

Qualifications

• Capable of working independently with moderate supervision.
• Able to follow safety procedures and instructions.
• Strong willingness to learn fire protection systems.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Fitter to complete tasks on job sites.
• Learn applicable fire protection codes and obtain state licensing.
• Work safely according to company procedures, including PPE and lockout/tag-out.
• Maintain the vehicle and keep it clean and organized.
• Assist in other tasks as assigned by the Fitter/Manager.
