Encore Fire Protection is seeking a Sprinkler Service Apprentice to learn the fire protection trade on the job with Journeyman technicians. This entry-level role focuses on laying out, assembling, installing, maintaining, and servicing fire sprinkler systems in commercial and industrial buildings while you gain hands-on experience and progress toward licenses.

You will receive mentorship, paid training, and state licensing support, with a path into a licensed technician role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required to register in apprenticeship programs.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and genuine interest in learning a technical trade.
• Ability to take direction, ask questions, and follow through without constant supervision.
• Comfort working at heights and lifting up to 50 pounds as part of daily work.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to attend training and pursue state required licenses or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Work under the supervision of a Journeyman technician on active service and repair jobs.
• Assist with the layout, assembly, installation, maintenance, and servicing fire sprinkler systems.
• Follow instructions carefully and complete tasks accurately, safely and on time.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas so they are clean and organized.
• Interact with customers, contractors, and team members professionally.
• Participate in training programs to earn state required licenses or certifications.
