Job summary

FSS Technologies is hiring a Fire Sprinkler Apprentice in Michigan to learn the trade under experienced fitters and foremen. This entry-level role requires hard work, dependability, and a long-term commitment to building a career in fire protection.

No prior fire sprinkler experience is required. You will train on installing systems, read blueprints, handle tools, and follow safety policies on active job sites within the assigned service area.

Qualifications

• No prior fire sprinkler experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Mechanical aptitude is a plus but not required.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• This is a full-time, field-based role working from active job sites within the assigned service area.

Responsibilities

• Learn to install commercial and residential fire sprinkler systems.
• Assist with installing pipe, fittings, valves, hangers, and sprinkler heads.
• Learn to read blueprints and sprinkler drawings.
• Operate tools and equipment safely.
• Load and unload materials at the job site.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site.
• Follow OSHA safety requirements and company safety policies.
• Complete daily paperwork and communicate with your supervisor.

Position Overview

FSS Technologies is hiring a Fire Sprinkler Apprentice to learn the fire sprinkler trade under the direction of experienced fitters and foremen. This is an entry-level, hands-on role for someone who is hardworking, dependable, and ready to build a long-term career in fire protection. No prior fire sprinkler experience is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Learn to install commercial and residential fire sprinkler systems.
• Assist with installing pipe, fittings, valves, hangers, and sprinkler heads.
• Learn to read blueprints and sprinkler drawings.
• Operate tools and equipment safely.
