What You'll Do

As an Apprentice Sprinkler Fitter, you'll work alongside licensed journeymen to install, modify, and service fire sprinkler systems in commercial and residential buildings. This is a hands‑on, learn‑while‑you‑earn role tied to a registered apprenticeship program.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Assisting with the installation of sprinkler piping, heads, hangers, and related components following approved blueprints and NFPA 13/13R/13D standards
• Cutting, threading, grooving, and joining pipe using hand and power tools
• Helping with system testing, flushing, and inspections
• Maintaining a clean and safe job site in compliance with OSHA regulations
• Attending all required apprenticeship classes and completing coursework on schedule
• Performing other duties as assigned by your supervisor

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or GED required
• Enrollment in, or eligibility for, a UA (United Association) or equivalent registered apprenticeship program
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work at heights, and stand for extended periods
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Basic mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn
• Reliable attendance — this role requires consistent on‑site presence

Working Conditions

Work is performed primarily at active construction sites. Exposure to varying temperatures, heights, confined spaces, and loud equipment is expected. PPE is required and provided.
