Job summary

Johnson Controls in Fresno, CA is seeking a PSA Service Sales Rep - Fire to grow planned service agreements for fire and related building systems. You will develop new business and expand relationships with commercial customers, turning needs into recurring service solutions.

You will use your knowledge of building systems to propose service options, conduct surveys to support estimates, and maintain accurate sales records while aiming to meet sales plan objectives.

Qualifications

• Experience in B2B sales in a commercial environment.
• Ability to sell technical or facility-related solutions with understanding of customer needs.
• Knowledge of commercial building systems, including fire-related components.
• Ability to conduct building surveys and prepare estimates.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Proficiency with Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell planned service agreements for commercial building systems, including fire alarm, suppression, sprinkler, security, sound, communication, and inspections.
• Establish contact with prospects and qualify potential buyers of service contracts.
• Develop positive customer relationships and build trust through consistent follow-up and professional communication.
• Identify customer needs and create a sales strategy that matches the building, account, and service opportunity.
• Close sufficient sales to meet sales plan objectives and maintain a healthy proposal backlog.
• Conduct building surveys to support estimates and develop accurate sales proposals.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activity, correspondence, expenses, and competitive activity.
• Submit sales reports on time and keep internal stakeholders informed of pipeline status and customer developments.
