Silco Fire & Security in Ohio is looking for an alarm installer/technician to join our growing team. You will install and program fire alarm systems, mount sensors, run wiring, and ensure all work complies with safety standards while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Attention to detail and sound judgement.
• Excellent communication skills, with a customer-first mindset.
• Strong problem-solving abilities in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Install and program control panels and equipment for fire alarm systems with guidance from plans and layouts.
• Mount sensors and access locations for wiring layouts.
• Install wiring to connect system components while complying with safety standards and customer needs.
• Explain system usage to customers and ensure satisfaction.
• Inspect and test systems for safety and performance.
• Review manuals and orders to plan wiring.
• Identify and repair malfunctions and replace parts as needed.
• Submit documentation per SOP.
