Job summary

FSS Technologies is seeking a motivated installation technician in Arlington Heights, IL to support the setup of fire and security systems. Travel is required, and you will install hardware, create documentation, and manage inventory while delivering reliable customer service.

The role requires a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and 3+ years in installation of fire, security, access control, or CCTV systems, with NICET 1 preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• NICET I certification preferred.
• Experience in installing fire and security systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation of security and fire systems hardware.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Adhere to all company policies and industry regulations.
• Assist in creating documentation and reports for security assessments and audits.
• Accurately maintain inventory records for hardware.
• Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment and keep parts in order.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding to support requests promptly.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
