Job summary

DynaFire is seeking an Installation Technician to support the construction of fire alarm, security, and other low voltage systems. You will read blueprints, install components, and follow installation procedures under supervision, while ensuring deadlines and coordinating with project managers.

The role emphasizes reliability, adaptability, and the ability to direct fellow installers when needed. This position is full-time and onsite in Florida.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of installation experience in the fire alarm industry.
• NICET Level I certification required and maintained; Level II within 12 months.
• Participate in required DynaFire sponsored training.
• May be requested to train others in DynaFire sponsored training.
• Manufacturing training to become certified in a DynaFire low voltage system.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints of low voltage systems and relate to building layout.
• Install components such as smoke detectors, pull stations, video cameras, door contacts.
• Study work orders, building plans, and installation manuals to determine materials and procedures under supervision.
• Meet installation deadlines as described by project manager or foreman.
• Direct other installers if requested by project manager or foreman.
• Communicate effectively with authorities having jurisdiction (AHJ).
