Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an on-site technician to maintain, repair, install, and program conventional and addressable fire alarm, security, nurse call, intercom and CCTV systems. You will read blueprints, diagrams, and specifications to ensure proper installations and inspections.

The role requires an HS diploma, some experience in fire alarm or security systems, strong communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds. Overtime and travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Some experience in Fire Alarm or Integrated Security Systems maintenance is preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication skills are essential.
• Electrical installation experience is a plus.
• Ability to troubleshoot and make repairs with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair, install, and program conventional and addressable fire alarm, security, nurse call, intercom, CCTV systems and related building systems.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, specifications, and operation manuals.
• Perform inspections and installation activities on electronic fire systems.
• Be prepared for overtime/on-site travel as needed.
