Qualifications

• Familiar with IAFC/NFPS 1010 guidance.
• Certified Fire Instructor II credential or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Teach fire science courses online via Brightspace and in person at Oak Ridge and Knoxville campuses.
• Provide instruction and student engagement; assess and grade work.
• Support students and communicate effectively; ensure adherence to institutional policies.
• Utilize Brightspace LMS for course management and delivery.
• Follow state and federal fire service guidelines during training.
