Job summary

Roane State Community College is seeking an Adjunct Faculty member to teach Fire Science courses online using D2L Brightspace and in person on the Oak Ridge and Knoxville campuses.

The instructor will engage students, assess progress, provide support, and ensure adherence to college policies while applying state and federal fire service guidelines and maintaining familiarity with Brightspace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in fire science or related field.
• TN Fire Commission FII Certification (ACI) – Introduction to Fire & Emergency Services and Basic Firefighting.
• FO120-Conducting Live Fire Evolutions Class.
• Familiar with IAFC/NFPS 1010.
