Job summary

The College of Central Florida invites applications for faculty positions as openings arise. The ideal candidate will teach, engage in professional development, contribute to college service, and support students and public service as part of CF's mission to provide quality higher education.

Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution, six years of experience as a regular member of a fire department, and current Florida Fire Instructor III certification;

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution.
  • Six years of experience as a regular member of a fire department.
  • Current Florida Bureau of Fire Standards and Training Fire Instructor III Certification.
  • Two years of teaching experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Teach courses and facilitate student learning in assigned disciplines.
  • Participate in professional development activities and campus service.
  • Contribute to college service and governance processes.
  • Engage in service to students and public service as part of CF's mission.
