Job summary

Amerit Consulting in Northern California seeks an accomplished Restoration Construction Project Manager (Fire & Wildfire Rebuild) to lead fire restoration, reconstruction, and insurance repair projects.

Hybrid work environment with frequent site visits; you will manage multiple active projects, coordinate subcontractors and vendors, review scopes and budgets, and maintain proactive communication with clients throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• PM experience in construction/restoration/insurance repair.
• Fire restoration experience preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple active projects simultaneously.
• Understanding of job costing, scheduling, scopes, and construction sequencing.
• Ability to read and work from Xactimate scopes.
• Strong communication with customers, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Strong problem-solving and field leadership abilities.
• Ability to work independently and drive projects forward without constant supervision.

Responsibilities

• Oversee fire restoration, reconstruction, and insurance repair projects throughout Northern California.
• Manage assigned projects from handoff through final completion.
• Review project scopes, estimates, schedules, and execution plans.
• Coordinate subcontractors, field crews, vendors, inspections, and materials.
• Build and maintain project schedules to ensure timely project completion.
• Monitor jobsite readiness and workflow efficiency.
• Resolve project-related issues and remove roadblocks proactively.
• Maintain high-level customer communication and service throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide regular project updates and communicate schedule changes professionally.
• Read and interpret Xactimate scopes and project documentation.
• Review job costs, budgets, and project requirements.
• Identify change orders, supplements, and missing scope items when applicable.
