Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Previous firefighting experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted under applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and/or drivers by carrying out security‑related procedures at a chemical/petrochemical location.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings and surrounding areas to deter incidents and support a safe environment.
• Verify credentials and direct visitors/contractors according to site procedures; document entry/exit activity.
• Respond to incidents and alarms in a calm, problem‑solving manner and communicate observations to site contacts.
• Prepare clear reports of patrols and incidents while noting hazard notices and restricted areas.
