Mills Fire Rescue Center. The position requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and may require HIPAA compliance certification within 60 days, FEMA NIMS ICS training within a year, and CJIS background checks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
• HIPAA compliance certification within 60 days of employment and maintained during term.
• FEMA NIMS ICS-100, ICS-200, ICS-700, ICS-800 training within 1 year of employment.
• CJIS background check required by Brevard County Sheriff's Office.
• In case of disaster, employee may be required to perform emergency duties.

Responsibilities

• Handle payroll processes including time entry, post-payroll, payroll journals, corrections, and manual updates.
• Examine, analyze, and verify invoices, bills, and vouchers.
• Assist in preparing and monitoring budgets.
• Create and maintain filing systems for payroll, invoices, billing statements and other financial documents.
• Respond to payroll and accounts payable inquiries and resolve complex customer issues.
