Job summary

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or higher in related field; 8+ years experience if using experience in lieu of degree.
  • Texas Fire Commission Basic Fire Fighter Certification is required.
  • Texas Fire Commission Intermediate Fire Instructor Certification required.
  • Copy of transcript conferring required degree/certifications must accompany application.

Responsibilities

  • Teach courses at various times/locations as needed by college.
  • Plan, develop, and use syllabi and course materials.
  • Evaluate student progress and provide timely feedback.
  • Maintain accurate student records and submit reports as required.
  • Assist with laboratory operation and equipment maintenance.
