Qualifications

• Required qualifications include an associate's degree in fire science or related field or a Bachelor's degree with 4 years of related experience.
• Additional certifications required are Texas Commission of Fire Protection, Fire Instructor 2, Fire Officer 1, and Fire Fighter Intermediate.

Responsibilities

• Teaches Fire Science Technology courses at various times and locations.
• Creates engaging lessons to promote student involvement.
• Submits required reports and forms in a timely manner.
• Meets with and advises students as necessary.
