Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
• Copy of transcript conferring required degree and certification(s) must accompany application.
• Texas Fire Commission Basic Fire Fighter Certification and Texas Fire Commission Intermediate Fire Instructor Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses using face-to-face, hybrid, online modalities (synchronous or asynchronous).
• Develop syllabus for each course and submit to department chair.
• Evaluate student progress and maintain accurate records and reports on deadlines.
• Collaborate to align curriculum with ABET standards and program needs.
