Job summary

Total Safety U.S. Inc. in Texas is seeking a Fire Technician to join a safety-conscious team. The role covers service, inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of fire protection equipment and systems, with travel to client sites as required.

Responsibilities include detailed documentation, pre/post-job briefs, and collaboration with customers and warehouses. A valid driver’s license and safety certifications are required; training is provided as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED with at least 1 year field experience in fire protection or related industry.
• Must be able to obtain required state licenses or NICET Level II testing within 12 months.
• Experience with fire protection equipment and safety systems is preferred.
• Must pass safety training and OSHA 10+ as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide service, inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of fire equipment.
• Complete documentation for inspections and repairs for invoicing and records.
• Conduct pre-job, job update, and post-job briefs and site walkdowns.
• Travel to customer sites and offshore projects as needed.
• Operate and test electronic safety equipment per manufacturers’ specs.
• Maintain clean and orderly work areas and assist with loading equipment.
