Job summary

Atlantic Constructors Inc. seeks a skilled Sprinkler Fitter to install and test automatic fire suppression systems at multiple site locations. You will read specifications, select components, and ensure piping is aligned with drawings and codes.

The role requires 2+ years of experience, ability to travel to job sites, and the stamina to work in varied environments. NICET 2 preferred but not required; Ridgid 300 experience is a plus; strong attention to detail essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Sprinkler Fitter or Fire Protection Tech.
• NICET Level 2 preferred, but not required.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret drawings.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, test, adjust and remove sprinkler systems per guidelines.
• Cuts, threads and hangs pipe.
• Install and rebuild fire pumps.
• Install valves, couplings and other fittings.
• Reads and interprets drawings to determine layout.
• Connects piping to water mains, pumps and control equipment.
• Tests system for leaks using pressure equipment.
• Trains and directs the day-to-day work of a helper.
• Maintains documentation for the work performed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
