Century Fire Protection LLC seeks a proficient fire protection design professional to develop sprinkler systems for industrial, commercial, and residential projects. You will create detailed design plans, conduct field surveys, and prepare submittal packages for regulatory approvals.

The role emphasizes project accuracy, coordination with installation teams, and timely completion within designated hours. NICET certification is a plus, with exposure to SprinkCad/AutoCAD/HydroCAD and MS Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• NICET certification a plus.
• Experience in fire protection design or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design fire protection sprinkler systems, including pumps, tanks, wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge systems.
• Submit design plans for approval and obtain permits as required.
• Calculate figures to convert design dimensions for production.
• Design within allocated hours for each job.
• Review work orders to determine critical design dimensions.
• Prepare submittal packages and correspondence for design approval.
• Prepare fabrication lists for pipe fabrication and requisition materials.
• Perform field surveys to verify design suitability for the structure.
• Assist field personnel with design-related installation issues.
• Prepare and submit final job close-out documents after acceptance testing.
