Job summary

Century Fire Protection is seeking a designer to create and optimize fire protection sprinkler systems for industrial, commercial, and residential projects. You will prepare submittals, coordinate with leadership for approvals, and ensure designs align with field installation needs.

The role involves field surveys, design calculations, and collaboration with field personnel to resolve installation challenges, with thorough documentation at job close-out.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 years related experience.
• NICET Certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design fire protection sprinkler systems with accuracy for field installation.
• Submit design plans for approval and obtain permits as required.
• Perform field surveys to ensure design suitability for structures.
• Prepare submittal packages and communications to achieve design approval.
• Prepare fabrication lists and requisition materials for jobs.
• Assist field personnel with design-related installation issues.
• Prepare and submit final job close-out documents after testing.
