Job summary

Atlantic Constructors is seeking a Fire Protection Sprinkler Helper to assist with the assembly and installation of sprinkler systems on various job sites in our new construction division. You will handle pipe, fittings and valves, following established guidelines and safety rules.

The role requires basic math, tool handling and the ability to report to multiple sites. Prior sprinkler or construction exposure is preferred, with opportunities for growth and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months construction or fire protection/sprinkler experience.
• Knowledge of basic tools and materials.
• Understands and practices the proper use of power and hand tools.
• Possesses basic math and computation skills.
• Must be able to multi-task, work with minimal supervision.
• Must follow written and oral instructions and show attention to detail.
• Must be available to report to multiple job sites as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Inspects, repairs, tests, adjusts and removes sprinkler systems.
• Selects specified type and size of pipe.
• Cuts, threads and hangs pipe.
• Assists in the installation of valves, couplings and other fittings.
• Assists in the lifting, positioning and securing of materials and work pieces during installation.
• Follows proper construction practices and company policy.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
