Job summary

Atlantic Constructors, Inc. is seeking a Fire Protection Sprinkler Helper to assist the sprinkler fitter with the assembly and installation of fire protection sprinkler systems on new construction sites.

You will cut, install, inspect, and repair piping while following established guidelines and safety procedures. Ideal candidates have at least 6 months of construction or sprinkler experience, basic tools proficiency, and the ability to work at multiple job sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months construction or fire protection experience.
• Knowledge of basic tools and materials.
• Must be able to multi-task and follow written and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Inspects, repairs, tests, adjusts and removes sprinkler systems.
• Selects specified type and size of pipe.
• Cuts, threads and hangs pipe.
• Assists in the installation of valves, couplings and other fittings.
• Assists in the lifting, positioning and securing of materials and work pieces during installation.
