Johnson Controls International plc is seeking a Service Technician to perform inspections, maintenance, repairs, and installations on fire protection equipment at customer sites. You will interpret technical documentation and manage daily service activities while maintaining strong customer relationships.

The role requires 5+ years in the industry, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word) and Windows.
• Valid U.S. driver\'s license.
• Experience servicing clean agent, dry chemical, and special hazard systems.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, repair, and install on fire protection equipment at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve system issues efficiently.
• Read blueprints, schematics, specifications, and manuals.
• Manage daily service calls and documentation.
• Conduct inspections per contracts and applicable codes.
• Provide professional customer support and on-call rotation participation.
• Document service activities using smartphones.
• Complete work at commercial, industrial, and government facilities.
• Maintain compliance with safety standards and regulations.
