Job summary

Mullins Mechanical is seeking a Fire Protection Project Manager to oversee and coordinate fire protection projects from initiation to completion. You will liaise with clients, technicians, and subcontractors while ensuring code compliance, schedules, and budgets are met.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in fire protection, with sprinkler system emphasis, and strong project management experience. Travel to sites and after-hours responsiveness may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in fire protection with emphasis on sprinkler systems.
• Proven project management experience in a service-focused environment.
• NICET Level II+ in Water-Based Systems preferred; PM certs desirable.
• Proficiency with project management and scheduling software.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects from initiation to completion.
• Serve as primary contact for clients, technicians, subcontractors and internal departments.
• Develop project scopes, schedules and budgets, track progress and performance.
• Ensure NFPA code compliance, AHJ regulations, and safety standards.
• Coordinate material procurement, subcontractor scheduling and field service dispatch.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and assist with invoicing discrepancies.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Provide training on new systems and participate in continuing education.
