Job summary

Mullins Mechanical is seeking a Fire Protection Project Manager to oversee fire protection projects from kickoff to closeout. You will coordinate field technicians, liaise with clients, manage scopes, schedules, and budgets, and ensure NFPA and AHJ compliance across installations and retrofits.

The role emphasizes strong communication, project management expertise, and the ability to travel between sites while maintaining safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in fire protection industry, focusing on sprinkler systems.
• NICET Level II or higher in Water-Based Systems preferred.
• Project management certifications (PMP, PgMP, CAPM) highly desirable.
• Proficiency with project management and scheduling software.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple fire protection projects from initiation to completion.
• Serve as primary client liaison with technicians, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Develop scopes, schedules, and budgets; track progress and performance.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA codes, AHJ regulations, and safety standards.
• Coordinate material procurement, subcontractor scheduling, and field service dispatch.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and facilitate timely billing.
