Job summary

Summit Fire & Security is seeking a trainee Inspector to gain hands-on experience inspecting fire protection systems under supervision. Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• 0-2 years' experience inspecting fire protection systems preferred.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; basic math and problem solving required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Inspectors while inspecting, testing, and maintaining fire protection systems per NFPA codes.
• Develop knowledge of life safety and NFPA standards.
• Complete on the job training documentation weekly.
• Attend Inspector training sessions and work toward NICET certification.
