Job summary

Premier Fire & Security, part of APi Group Life Safety USA, seeks a Fire Protection Inspector to inspect fire protection systems and related equipment from the Clarksville office. The role includes performing inspections, preventive maintenance, and servicing life safety systems while traveling as needed.

Ideal candidates have experience with fire alarms, sprinkler systems, security systems, and access control, plus familiarity with tools and basic programming tasks. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Previous experience preferred in fire alarms, sprinkler systems, security systems, access control and cameras.
• Familiarity with hand/ power tools, uploading/downloading/programming.
• NICET certification, and Kentucky fire alarm and/or sprinkler inspector certification preferable
• Ability to work in confined space.
• Strong troubleshooting, computer and critical thinking skills.
• Background check & drug screen required.
• Some travel will be required based on job site location and training requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections on fire alarms, security systems, sprinkler systems, fire extinguishers and various special hazard suppression systems.
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance on all systems.
• Monitor inventory of service parts on your company vehicle.
