Total Fire Protection is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm and Sprinkler Inspector in the United States. You will inspect, test, and maintain sprinkler and alarm systems, prepare comprehensive reports, and ensure compliance with NFPA, IFC, and local codes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5+ years of experience in fire protection system installation or inspection, testing, and maintenance.
• Possess State/National certifications where applicable (NICET/Florida).
• Strong knowledge of NFPA/IFC/IBC codes and standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints, plans and specifications.
• 2+ years inspecting or installing fire alarm systems.
• 2 years' CCTV, Intrusion & Card Access experience preferred.
• Proficient with computers/tablets and electronic blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of fire sprinkler and fire alarm systems.
• Prepare detailed reports with findings, tests and recommendations.
• Identify deficiencies and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Communicate inspection results with owners, contractors and stakeholders.
• Coordinate inspections and on-call rotations for emergencies.
• Stay up to date with fire codes and technologies.
