Regional Fire Protection, part of the Guardian Fire Services family, is seeking an entry-level Service Helper to support field technicians in inspecting and installing fire and life-safety equipment across Maryland, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia.

You will learn hands-on skills, work safely with a team, and have opportunities to advance into a technician role while contributing to critical safety systems.

The Service Helper supports Fire Protection Service Technicians with the inspection, maintenance, repair, and installation of fire and life-safety equipment. This is an entry-level position designed for individuals interested in learning about the fire protection industry and developing the skills necessary to advance into a technician role.

The Service Helper will work alongside experienced technicians in the field, assist with daily service activities, maintain tools and materials, and help ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Service Technicians with daily inspection, service, repair, and installation work.
• Help perform work involving fire protection systems and equipment, including:
  • Portable fire extinguishers
  • Fire sprinkler systems
  • Fire alarm systems
  • Kitchen suppression systems
  • Emergency and exit lighting
