Job summary

1st Select Ltd in Texas is seeking a Fire Protection Engineer to join a multidisciplinary consultancy. You will lead fire protection design, code analysis, and life-safety assessments across healthcare, industrial, commercial, and education sectors.

Relocation support to Texas is included. A PE licence or related credentials are advantageous, and you will collaborate with clients and design teams while mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

Experienced Fire Protection Engineer in a consulting environment.
Strong knowledge of fire codes and life-safety standards.
Able to lead projects and collaborate with design teams.
Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with authorities having jurisdiction.

Responsibilities

Fire protection system design and review.
Fire and building code analysis.
Fire alarm and suppression systems.
Egress and smoke control and life safety assessments.
Technical reports and engineering assessments.
Client and AHJ coordination.
Project delivery and technical leadership.
Support and mentor junior engineers.
