Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree required.
• Education aligned with fire protection engineering in oil and gas context preferred.
• EIT or FE Exam preferred.

Responsibilities

• Researches and analyzes data to determine feasibility of design or application.
• Analyzes requirements of codes and standards to meet fire protection objectives.
• Works with clients to develop project scope, estimates and schedules.
• Reviews and approves project drawings, standards, and specifications.
• Develops equipment and construction specifications.
• Directs construction, installation, and testing activities to ensure conformance with design and client criteria.
• Ensures compliance with applicable codes and laws.
• Evaluates field installations and recommends design modifications.
• Coordinates with other disciplines involved in fabrication, operation, and installation.
