Fire Protection Engineer providing technical support to multiple US Navy/ MSC programs. You will design and validate designs for existing and to be built systems on various naval and marine vessels including aircraft carriers, combatants, amphibious, auxiliary, and specialized mission ships from ship concept, design, construction, life cycle, and fleet support. This will include firefighting, fire detection, auxiliary, compressed air, hydraulics, and cooling systems that are necessary to maintain a ships functionality and mission. You will provide technical support on various engineering projects alone and as part of an engineering team primarily in support of the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and the Military Sealift Command (MSC).
